Agentic Ads Pixel Support

Need help installing, configuring, or troubleshooting the Agentic Ads Pixel app for Shopify? You're in the right place.

Quick start

Install the app on your Shopify store from the Shopify App Store.
From your Shopify admin, open the app. You'll be prompted to start a 7-day free trial of the Starter plan ($29/month after the trial).
After starting the trial, paste your OpenAI Ads Pixel ID into the field and click Save and activate pixel.

That's it - the app builds and installs a Shopify Web Pixel that captures storefront events and forwards them to OpenAI Ads for campaign performance measurement. No theme code edits required.

Where do I find my OpenAI Ads Pixel ID?

In your OpenAI Ads Manager, go to Tools → Conversions → 'View Code'. Your pixel ID is a 22-character alphanumeric string that looks like 3matzprincqBGsY4U5OGZ4. Copy and paste it directly into the app's admin page.

How do I verify it's working?

Visit the Diagnostics page within the app, where our system automatically verifies setup and surfaces any unexpected anomalies. You will either see a green indicator when setup is complete and operating, or a red indicator with an error message if setup has experienced an issue. Developers can further enable debug logging when saving the pixel and then visit the site, wherein you will observe [Agentic Ads Pixel] deliver … messages in the storefront console. Remember to disable debug logging when you're done.

To verify OpenAI is receiving and accepting events, check your OpenAI Ads Manager.

Plans and pricing

Starter — $29 USD/month after a 7-day free trial. Includes the JavaScript pixel measurement for standard Shopify storefront events.
(Coming soon) Growth — adds Conversions API for server-side deduplication and improved accuracy.

You can cancel anytime from your Shopify admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Agentic Ads Pixel → Uninstall.

Troubleshooting

Refresh the admin page. If the issue persists, open the Diagnostics page in the app and confirm the status. Contact support if the trial does not activate.

Pixel saved but events don't appear in OpenAI Ads

Confirm your OpenAI Pixel ID is correct (no leading/trailing whitespace).
Confirm in the Diagnostics page that the Web Pixel is marked Current.
Make a test purchase using a Bogus Gateway payment on your dev store (or place a real low-value test order).
If events still don't appear in OpenAI Ads after 30 minutes, contact support with your myshopify domain and the approximate test time including timezone.

Multiple Web Pixels showing in Diagnostics

This can happen if a previous save failed mid-way or if you've installed multiple pixel apps. Use the Delete this Web Pixel button on each non-Current pixel to clean up.

Uninstalling

Shopify automatically removes the Web Pixel when you uninstall the app. We delete all data we hold about your shop 48 hours after uninstall, in line with Shopify's privacy webhook timing.
